OMHA and Simpliflow Release Personal Traning App for iPhone
Richmond Hill, ON - The Ontario Minor Hockey Association [OMHA] and Simpliflow are proud to announce their partnership in the development of the OMHA/Flow interactive personal training app for the iPhone and Android. The Flow program is based on the latest sports science and proven strength and conditioning plans by leading experts in the field.
“We are very fortunate to partner with an innovative industry leader, SimpliFlow to bring the best development tools to minor hockey players in Ontario.” stated Ian Taylor, OMHA Director of Development. Merging the science of athletic training and technology through an app provides players with a customized training plan to support their overall development.”
The app provides standardized testing and evaluation of the athlete’s strengths and weaknesses in several categories such as horizontal/vertical power, movement skills and anaerobic workload tolerance. It generates training plans, which take the athlete’s test results and his/her strength and weaknesses into account. It can also create custom training plans, generates detailed analysis of test results and training behaviours through charts and key figures and allows users to compare their results and performances among various other users within the program.
The FLOW/OMHA training app is now available online in both the Apple store and Google Play store. You can try the app right now for free for one month.
