About the Events
The All-Ontario PeeWee AAA Championship and the All-Ontario Bantam AAA Championship are events that include all three Ontario branches of Hockey Canada.  A total of seven teams compete at these two events which include the championship teams from the ALLIANCE, GTHL, OMHA, NOHA, ODMHA, HNO and the host team. 

The Central Region Midget AAA Championship is the regional championship event where the winner goes on to compete at the National
TELUS Cup.  A the regional event a total of seven teams participate which include championship teams within the OHF (ALLIANCE, GTHL, NOHA and OMHA), two ODMHA teams plus the host team.

The Champions of the GTHL go undefeated to take 2011 Provincial title
The Mississauga Rebels went undefeated (7-0-1) to win Gold at the 2011 All-Ontario Bantam AAA Championship in Thunder Bay,ON. After a 4-2 semi-final win over the Ottawa Valley Titans, they took on the Soo Greyhounds team. The Greyhounds advanced to the gold medal game with a 5-2 victory over the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs. The Gold medal game saw the Rebels dynamic power play strike four times as they defeated the Greyhounds 7-0.  The Ottawa Valley Titans were the bronze winners as they beat the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs 7-5.

The talented forward was an offensive force in round-robin play leading all players in overall offensive production with 17 points in six games, including seven goals.

CHAMPIONSHIP ALL-STAR TEAM

Goaltender

No. 35, Tynan Lauziere, Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs

Went unbeaten in round-robin action with a 2-0-1 record with two shutouts posting a solid 1.00 goals-against average and a stellar .954 save percentage.

Defence

No. 51, Kyle Jenkins, Mississauga Rebels

Paced all defencemen with six points on three goals and three assists while helping anchor the team’s defensive efforts.

No. 27, Michael Prapavessis, Mississauga Rebels
Was rock solid on both ends of ice while amassing five points on a goal and four assists.

Forwards

No. 17, David Miller, Mississauga Rebels

The highly skilled forward, led the Rebels in points with 12, including eight goals.

No. 9, Owen McDade, Ottawa Valley Titans
Had points in five straight games to wrap-up round-robin play finishing with four goals and six helpers.

No. 8, Jarren Bellini, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds
The Greyhounds captain was one off the overall tournament goal scoring lead with eight as part of his 13-points, which included two game-winners that was a tie for most among all players.

Midget AAA 2011 Results

London Jr. Knights capture gold at the Central Ontario Midget AAA Championship.
 
This win qualified the Knights for the TELUS Cup National Midget AAA Championship in St. Johns, NL from April 18 - 24, 2011.
