Attention PeeWee Teams
Date: Feb, 22, 2017 12:00 PM EDT
Hockey Canada and Chevrolet are excited to announce that there’s a new trophy in hockey. But it isn’t for winning a championship. This trophy is awarded to the team that has the best season off the ice. It’s the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup, and this year one Peewee hockey team will take it home for performing the most impressive good deed in Canada.
To compete for the Cup all your team needs to do is perform at least one good deed within your community. The more impressive the good deed, the better your team’s chances of winning. Good deeds are entered with a YouTube video (1 min. max) submitted by Feb 28,
2017 telling us what your team did. Simply fill out the entry form at ChevroletHockey.com with a brief description of your team’s good deed and include a link to your YouTube video.
Hockey Canada, Chevrolet, along with Chevrolet Hockey Ambassadors will review each entry to determine the finalists. Each finalist team will receive $2000 for their team, $2000 for a charity of the team’s choice, $1000 for their Hockey Canada Branch, and a Good Deeds Cup Finalist banner.
Then, starting March 8, 2017, we’ll ask Canadians to vote for the winner. The winning team will be presented with the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup at a winner’s ceremony in their home town, receive a Good Deeds Cup Championship banner to hang in their home arena, and
earn national recognition.
