Hockey Canada Summer Camp happening in Seguin and Amherstview

Date: Jun, 22, 2019 12:00 PM EDT

The Ontario Hockey Federation and Ontario Minor Hockey Association are proud to partner in delivering two Hockey Canada Multi-Sport Summer Camps in Seguin, ON and Amherstview, ON this summer. The focus of both camps is to lead, develop, and promote positive hockey experiences by providing a platform for multi-sport skill development.

Open to both boys and girls born from 2007 – 2012, participants will take part in a five day skills based camp where players will experience a variety of hockey and sport related activities throughout the week. Each day will consist of two on-ice sessions focusing on individual skill development, skating, shooting, passing, stick handling and much more. In addition to on-ice sessions, players will take part in multiple off-ice sessions per day concentrated on multi-sport skill development while implementing different off-ice skills such as teamwork, character, and respect.

Hockey Canada programming encourages youth to be multi-sport athletes and for that reason representatives from other National and Provincial Sport Organizations will be on hand to deliver the off-ice programming for the duration of the camp. In past years, the Hockey Canada Multi-Sport Summer Camp has been supported by Rugby Ontario, Baseball Canada, Ontario Volleyball Association, Ultimate Canada, Spikeball, Basketball Canada, Ontario Soccer Association, Golf Association of Ontario, and many more. Stay tuned to find out who will be joining us this year!

The Hockey Canada Summer Camp in Seguin, ON will run from Monday, July 22nd to Friday, July 26th, while the Hockey Canada Summer Camp in Amherstview, ON, held in partnership with the Loyalist Minor Hockey Association, will run from Monday, August 12th to Friday, August 16th. The daily schedule will be provided closer to the start of the camp with each day running from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
