We’re proud to share that Peterborough, Ontario has been selected as the host city for the 2026 TELUS Cup, Canada’s U18 Men’s National Club Championship. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome the nation’s best to our community.
From April 20–26, 2026, the Peterborough Memorial Centre will become the centre of the Canadian minor hockey world as the Peterborough Junior AAA Petes (OMHA) make their national championship debut on home ice. This marks the first time since 2019 that the TELUS Cup returns to Ontario, and the first time ever in Peterborough.
In partnership with Hockey Canada, the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF), and the City of Peterborough, this national tournament is more than a showcase of elite youth talent—it’s a celebration of hockey's deep roots in our community.
“In Peterborough, hockey is more than a game, it is part of our identity,” said Mayor Jeff Leal. “The TELUS Cup is an incredible chance to cheer on the future stars of the sport, showcase our facilities, and celebrate everything that makes Peterborough an unforgettable destination for hockey.”
Our organization is proud to support this major event and the opportunities it brings to young athletes, volunteers, and fans throughout our region. With strong community spirit and a passion for the game, Peterborough is ready to deliver an unforgettable TELUS Cup experience in 2026.
Stay tuned for more information on tickets, schedules, and volunteer opportunities as we move closer to the event.
