OK Tire Drive to Play Program Returns to Support Minor Hockey Players
Date: Mar, 16, 2026 12:00 PM EDT
The OK Tire Drive to Play Program is returning for another season, continuing to support grassroots hockey players and their teams across Canada.
Building on the success of last year’s jersey initiative, the program has been refreshed under a new name while maintaining the same mission — helping reduce financial barriers and supporting minor hockey communities.
Beginning March 2, minor hockey players can participate by wearing their team jersey into any OK Tire dealership across the country. Players will have the opportunity to scan a QR code in-store and complete a short questionnaire to be entered for a chance to win funding toward their hockey season.
Thirteen winners will be selected nationwide, with one winner from each member branch.
Each winning player will receive $500 toward their Minor Hockey fees for the following season, while their minor hockey team will also receive $1,500 to support local hockey initiatives, courtesy of OK Tire.
The OK Tire Drive to Play Program highlights the ongoing partnership between community businesses and grassroots sport, helping create opportunities for young athletes to continue participating in the game.
The program will run from March 2 through May 31, with winners scheduled to be announced on June 20.
Minor hockey players and families are encouraged to visit their local OK Tire dealership, proudly wear their team jerseys, and take part in the program for a chance to support both their hockey journey and their team!
