Bid Applications Now Open For 2026 OHF Championships

The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) is pleased to announce that the bid process for hosting the 2026 OHF Championships is now officially open. Minor Hockey Associations across the OHF are invited to submit their applications to host one of the premier events on the minor hockey calendar.

The 2026 OHF Championships will be held from April 17–19, 2026, and will feature competition across several divisions, including two newly introduced categories:

  • U15 Non-Contact

  • U18 Non-Contact

All interested Associations must refer to the 2026 OHF Championships Host Manual & Bid Guidelines, now available. This document outlines all hosting requirements, expectations, and application procedures. Associations are encouraged to review it in detail prior to preparing their submissions.

Important Details

  • Deadline to Apply: June 30, 2025

  • Application Requirement: All bid applications must be endorsed by the applicable Member organization

  • Q&A Session: A virtual session will be held in May/June for interested Associations to ask questions and receive clarification. Details will be shared shortly.

What Are Championships:

The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) Minor Hockey Championships is a three (3) day event that takes place at the end of every hockey season that produces OHF Branch Champions at the U13 A, AA, U15 A, AA and U18 A, AA age categories. Each Minor Hockey Member Partner (ALLIANCE, GTHL, NOHA and OMHA) is represented plus a host team.
