Equipment Needed

Hockey is a fast paced sport played with a hard rubber puck and sticks. In order to keep every player safe, you must wear proper equipment while on the ice.

Not every player needs top of the line, expensive gear, when you are just starting out in hockey, your best bet is to purchase your equipment second hand. There are plenty of second hand equipment stores throughout Ontario that will get you set up at very reasonable prices.

Depending on the governing rules of your Member Partner, all players may be required to wear mouth guards, and goalies may be required to wear bibs off their face masks. Not to worry - your Member Partner will make sure you are aware of these rules before your first practice!
